Told through the voice of Dow Chairman and CEO, Andrew Liveris, Make It in America is a representation of Dow's policies, focus and solutions on the importance of reinvigorating manufacturing for a 21st Century.

The book brings together the Company's philosophy and actions with examples from around the industrial world and is a natural extension of Dow's priorities which were first introduced in 2007 and most recently outlined in Dow's vision for an "Advanced Manufacturing Plan" in June 2010. In Make It in America, Dow presents a case for how critical domestic manufacturing is to the long-term health of the entire U.S. economy and provides a roadmap for the future of the industry. While the title of the book is specific to the U.S., the themes, policies, priorities and business strategies are transferable across geographies.
