Andrew Liveris, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, spoke with Andrew Ross Sorkin of CNBC’s “Squawk Box” at the 2012 World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland responding to President Obama’s State of the Union Address as well as topics being discussed at this year’s WEF which is themed “The Great Transformation: Shaping New Models”. Andrew used the opportunity to highlight the need for government to create policies that support business including examining regulatory reforms, an energy policy, shale gas, R&D tax credits, and 21st century job skills through investment in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) education, as well as providing his take on the economic future of the Eurozone, and why Andrew is optimistic on the current outlook of the global economy.
