Genoa, Italy - November 09, 2010
The Dow Chemical Company will combine the chemistry of four of its key businesses to give a master class in the “Science of Solutions” at Eurocoat – the international exhibition and congress for the paint, printing ink, glue and adhesive industries – in Genoa, Italy November 9–11, 2010.
Teaming up for the first time on a single showcase stand, D32, are four of the businesses from Dow’s Advanced Materials portfolio - Dow Coating Materials, Dow Construction Chemicals, Dow Microbial Control and ANGUS Chemical Company. They will also be joined by one of Dow’s distributors for the region S.I.R.I. Spa.
Throughout the three-day event, Dow will showcase many of its new products in the industrial and architectural markets. These products feature leading-edge technologies that improve durability, cut costs, reduce VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) and odour, and improve overall handling and performance.
According to Guillaume Reverchon, marketing director, Dow Coating Materials EMEA, Dow is uniquely positioned to drive change by delivering innovative chemical solutions that contribute to human progress and drive business growth.
“We understand that time-to-market is critical,” said Reverchon. “Whatever the industry, Dow has the technology, creativity and expertise to help customers differentiate and gain market share. We are always thinking about how to help customers revolutionise their products. Eurocoat affords us a great opportunity to connect with members of the paint and coatings industry and discuss how our science-based solutions create products that deliver consumer benefits and business success.”

In addition to the show-stand, a number of the Dow experts will be delivering technical presentations at the parallel XXX Fatipec Congress on industry-leading and award-winning innovative technologies. For more information click here or visit: www.dow.com/coating/news/events.htm
