At the American Coating Show in Charlotte, June 3-5, Dow Coating Solutions, a market facing business of The Dow Chemical Company, will provide product development blueprints for formulators who want to develop sustainable or “green” coatings today. Sustainability is an innovation theme and focus area for Dow Coating Solutions.

“The raw materials and technology exist, and are commercially available, to develop sustainable architectural paints and coatings that meet most regulatory and environmental standards for green coatings worldwide,” Mike Kaufman, NA Application and Formulation Development Leader for Architectural Coatings, explained. “At the American Coatings Show in June, we will show formulators and other attendees exactly what they need to develop sustainable coatings – including suggested formulations utilizing products from Dow Coating Solutions.”

Kaufman will be formally presenting and discussing these initiatives during a poster session entitled “Formulating Architectural Coatings to Meet Green Environmental Initiatives” during the show poster sessions.
