Raphael Crawford Director, Global Marketing and Business Development Dow Coating Materials |
Raphael Crawford is the Director of Global Marketing and Business Development for Dow Coating Materials, a global business unit of The Dow Chemical Company. He is responsible for the global business strategy and for new business development initiatives, and is a member of the Dow Global Marketing Council. Crawford joined Dow Coating Materials in February 2011. Previously, he was the Global Commercial Director and Global Product Marketing Director for Dow Water and Process Solutions, positions he assumed in April 2009, following the acquisition of Rohm and Haas Company by The Dow Chemical Company.
Raphael joined Rohm and Haas in 2003 as a strategic marketing manager in the AgroFresh division. He went on to hold positions of increasing responsibility in the Agrofresh business, culminating in the role of Vice President and Business Director for the Americas, and as a member of the Rohm and Haas Latin America leadership team. In 2007, Raphael joined the Rohm and Haas Ion Exchange business as Global Marketing Director and led in this role until the closing of the Rohm and Haas acquisition by Dow.
Before joining Rohm and Haas, Raphael worked at Campbell Soup Company as a Brand Manager for Canned Soups. He also previously worked at SBC Telecommunications in several capacities including new ventures, finance and marketing.
Raphael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Wesleyan University and a Master of Science degree in Finance from the University of New Haven. He maintains professional certifications in Management Accounting and Financial Management by the Institute of Management Accountants.
He and his family reside in Pennsylvania.
