Dow Latex Increases Prices of Products for Carpet in North America

Midland, MI - January 11, 2006

Effective January 30, 2006, the Dow Latex business is increasing the prices of all latex products sold into the carpet industry by US$0.03/lb (dry) in the United States and Canada. All other terms and conditions remain the same.

The price increase is the result of increased costs for raw materials, energy, and transportation.
