If you are a current student seeking experience in the field of Human Resources, then you'll want to consider joining the Dow Human Resources Internship Program.
This internship will provide opportunities to tap your ideas, creativity and what you’ve learned in college and apply them to meaningful projects in HR sub-functions. Not only will you gain valuable experience, you’ll have the opportunity to make an impact on and deliver Dow’s people vision.
Students who successfully complete the internship program may be considered for the HR Rotational Development Program.
Duration of Program
The duration of the HR Internship Program is typically two to three months.

You should hold a bachelor- or master-level degree in the following disciplines:
- Business
- Human Resources
- Industrial Psychology
- Organizational Behavior, Development or Design
- Labor & Industrial Relations
- Science and Mathematics
As part of your internship, you will have the opportunity to gain experience and work with leaders in one of the following Human Resources sub-functions:
Compensation & Benefits
Provides expertise to develop competitive compensation and benefits practices to support talent attraction, retention, recognition and ultimately, organizational success.
Diversity & Inclusion and Engagement
Fosters a culture that embraces the unique experiences, perspectives and styles Dow people bring to the workplace and puts these differences to work to generate innovative solutions to meet the needs of our world. Provides expertise in employee engagement, diversity and inclusion programs, and employee surveys.
Human Capital Development
Provides consultation on organizational design and effectiveness, change management, leadership effectiveness, and employee and high potential development to align with the Dow culture of investing to bring out the best in people. Develops and implements learning resources across the company. Also responsible for designing and implementing Dow’s Performance Management System.
Human Resources Information Technology
Designs, develops and implements world-class, global information systems and solutions to enhance organizational effectiveness and business success.
Global Mobility
Provides relocation counsel and support to employees who accept development assignments outside their home location.
Talent Acquisition
Provides targeted recruiting expertise and programs, processes and procedures to attract, select and deploy the best talent in Dow to create innovative solutions that respond to the world’s challenges. Also works to continuously strengthen Dow’s employer brand.
Human Capital Planning
Serves as strategic experts to ensure that the right talent is in the right place at the right time. Plans for future workforce needs by analyzing internal and external talent.
Human Resources Partners
Serve as trusted partner and consultant to global businesses, functions, geographies and sites. Provide support to implement HR practices that invest in Dow people and enable the creation of solutions that reshape our world.
