Internship opportunities exist in Finance for individuals who are preferably within one year of graduation and who are working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting or Accounting Information Systems. We are interested in individuals who are motivated by the challenges and rewards of working for a global company that is reshaping our world.. The positions are located at Dow’s world headquarters in Midland, Michigan.

Students will be assigned meaningful and challenging projects that will introduce them to Dow’s global financial systems, procedures and policies Assignments vary and will be designed to complement the student’s prior experiences and background. Throughout the summer, student interns will be given opportunities to interact with key leaders in the Finance organization.

Student interns will be part of the Dow Chemical National Student Program, which includes students from a variety of educational disciplines and universities. This program provides a competitive salary, paid vacation, paid travel costs to and from college, subsidized housing rates, and planned social activities and events throughout the summer.

Interns in this program will work in the Controllers or Corporate Audit organizations. The internship program is designed to be more than just a summer job experience. It is intended to develop a pipeline of talented candidates for potential full-time employment opportunities in the Finance Development Program for Accountants. The exceptional students who are offered and accept full-time employment will enter their Dow career with both valuable experience gained during their internship and an existing network of peers and leaders.

Duration of Program

Summer Intern assignments in the Finance Development Program for Accountants are typically 12 weeks in duration.
