DOWFROST
Specifically designed to provide optimum performance in HVAC systems, Dowfrost is an inhibited glycol-based fluid designed to keep HVAC systems’ low temperatures and prevent the metals in their pipes from corroding.
Unlike other products used in this same application, such as water, uninhibited glycol-based fluids and automotive antifreeze, Dowfrost has the food-level certification, that is, in the event it gets in contact with food, it does not pose any risk to human health. Additionally, Dowfrost offers several technical advantages, such as the fact that it keeps its fluid characteristic even at very low temperatures and does not corrode metal pipes. These features provide the refrigeration system with a higher durability, what means it does not need to be serviced or replenished as often as those using other products.
