Eco Pólis – Guarujá (São Paulo): Developed in partnership with the University of Santa Cecilia, in the mangrove area next to the Industrial Complex of Guarujá, Eco Polis is an environmental education program that provides an experience of biodiversity and sustainability for students of public and private schools from Santos and São Paulo.
Cachoeira Project – The Nature Conservancy – Piracaia (São Paulo): reforestation project of 350 acres around the reservoir Cachoeira, one of the most important of the Cantareira System, the main source of water supply in the metropolitan region of São Paulo. The project also included the restoration of riverside areas and protection of forest remaining. More than 80 species native to the Atlantic Forest were planted between the years 2009 to 2011. Developed by Dow in partnership with the NGO The Nature Conservancy, the Basic Sanitation Company of São Paulo (SABESP), the Secretary of Environment of the State of São Paulo (SMA-SP) and the Municipality of Piracaia.
