UCONEX™ 315 Antimicrobial is a 15% aqueous solution of glutaraldehyde that is especially effective in controlling bacteria in fungi including sulfate-reducing bacteria, mold, yeast and algae in water-based conveyor lubricants, heat transfer systems, and aqueous metal working fluids. The broad-spectrum efficacy of UCONEX 315 Antimicrobial facilitates its use in establishing and maintaining a microbiological control in water based conveyor lubricants commonly found in food processing plants. Its compatibility with the halogen-based oxidizing biocides also provides an extremely effective combination microbiological control program for pasteurizers, retort cookers and other heat transfer systems found in food processing plants.
