Rajiv Rao is regional commercial manager for India, the Middle East and Africa (MEAF) for ANGUS Chemical Company (ANGUS), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Dow Chemical Company, and Dow Biocides, a business group of The Dow Chemical Company.  In his position he is responsible for coordinating all business efforts in the Indian Subcontinent, as well as MEAF and providing administrative and business leadership for all employees in the customer application center in this region. 

Rajiv joined Dow in Mumbai, India in 1997 working as a technical service representative (TSR) for the Dow Polyurethane System House (PUSH).  In 2001, he was promoted to senior TSR within PUSH and served in this role until 2005.  Since 2005, Rajiv has been a seller for polyurethane, performance fluids, and Biocides within the Indian Subcontinent, as well as for chemical intermediates and Dow's performance chemicals and thermosets portfolio in Pakistan.  Prior to joining Dow, Rajiv was a process engineer at DIAB Inc., in Dallas, Texas where he was responsible for developing a new rigid structural PU foam and setting up a plant for its production. 

Rajiv holds a Master of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
