Per Westin is a Regional Commercial Manager for Dow Biocides in Europe, Middle East & Africa. In this role, Per is responsible for leading the Customer Application Centers in the region and to ensure the business delivers annual revenue targets.

Per joined Dow in 2001 as part of the Union Carbide Corporation (UCC) acquisition. Per joined UCC in 1988 as a seller of specialty chemicals in the Nordic countries. In 1993, he was named product market and sales manager for specialty chemicals in Europe, Middle East & Africa. In 1998, Per moved to the role of product market and sales manager for Amines & glycol ethers for Europe, Middle East & Africa. After the UCC acquisition, Per was named marketing manager Europe, MEAF and India for Dow Biocides. He served as a Global Marketing Manager, Process Water Treatment for Dow Biocides and ANGUS Chemical Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Dow Chemical Company between 2004-2006. He was named in his current role May 1 2006.

Per holds a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden.
