Jerry Konst is a global product manager for Dow Biocides and ANGUS Chemical Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Dow Chemical Company, responsible for the long term strategic product leadership for the Dow Biocides and ANGUS product portfolios.
Jerry joined Dow in April 2001 with Industrial Chemicals, working as a strategy development project leader as result of Dow’s merger with Union Carbide. In 2002, Jerry was named North American marketing manager for preservation and solids for Dow Biocides before being named to a global marketing manager role for Dow Biocides and ANGUS in 2004. He was named to his current role in 2006. Prior to the Dow merger, Jerry held a variety of roles with Union Carbide since joining the company in 1989 including engineer, consultant, maintenance manager, production department manager and product marketing manager.
Jerry holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, and a Masters of Science in Environmental Management from the University of Houston in Clear Lake, Texas.
