Dwayne Roark

Dwayne Roark is the Global Business Communications Manager for Dow Biocides and ANGUS Chemical Company. Dwayne is responsible for creating and implementing all communications strategies with a primary focus on measurable marketing communications programs and executive counsel to help achieve business goals. Additionally, as a member of the Dow Public Affairs function, Dwayne plays a critical role in supporting the company's overall reputation and business branding initiatives.

Dwayne joined Dow in 2008 and brings in-depth marketing communications expertise to the business. Prior to joining Dow, Dwayne was senior marketing manager for Misumi USA, Inc. in Schaumburg, Ill., a publicly held multinational corporation based in Japan, where he developed marketing objectives, strategies and tactics for the North American division. Dwayne also previously served as the North American marketing communications manager for Danaher Motion in Wood Dale, Ill., a division of the Fortune 500 Danaher Corporation offering electromagnetic, mechanical and control technologies.

Dwayne holds a master's degree in integrated marketing communications from Roosevelt University, Chicago, Ill. and a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communications from the University of St. Francis, Joliet, Ill. Dwayne has also served as an adjunct professor of marketing and business courses at the American InterContinental University in Hoffman Estates, Ill.
