Nanette Hermsen

Global Marketing Manager,

Nanette Hermsen is a Global Marketing Manager for Dow Biocides, with additional responsibilities for ANGUS Chemical Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Dow Chemical Company. Nanette is responsible for the long term strategic development and direction of Functional Solutions and Applications in markets as varied as metalworking fluids, leather, synthetic rubber, fuels and fuel additives, agricultural and chemical intermediates.

Nanette joined Dow in 1988 as part of the commercial development program in sales training. In 1989, Nanette moved into a field sales role for performance products in Houston, Texas before relocating to Los Angeles, California as an account manager in Epoxy products and intermediates in 1991. In 1995, Nanette was promoted to senior account manager for Epoxy products and intermediates and moved to Chicago, Illinois. In 2001, Nanette was named North American marketing manager for Dow Biocides and moved to her current role in 2004.

Nanette holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.
