Dow Announces Streamlined Distribution Network for its Biocide Product Portfolio

Buffalo Grove, IL - May 16, 2005

The Dow Chemical Company has streamlined its North America and Canada Distribution network for its Biocides product portfolio.

The changes, effective July 1, 2005, provide a network of specialty Distributors best able to service the needs of our North American and Canadian customers.

"Our effort to streamline our distribution network is aimed at making it easier for our customers to business with us," said Mike Lewis, North American distribution manager for Dow Biocides. "Our knowlegable distribution network will handle sales, marketing, customer service and order fulfillment for US and Canadian customers with smaller purchase quantities and special service requirements, allowing our direct sales team to focus on developmental efforts with new products."
