Efficacy Data
GLUTEX™ sanitizers have been proven effective against a wide range of poultry viruses including the highly pathogenic Avian Influenza H5N1 virus.
EPA VIRUCIDAL TESTS
GLUTEX GS1 & GS2 sanitizers significantly reduce the titer of a wide range of viruses after 5 or 10 minutes of contact at a contact temperature of 25ºC/76ºF and hardness as CaCO3 of 1200-1400 parts per million (ppm). [ Tests run with active glutaraldehyde ]
AOAC GERMICIDAL AND DETERGENT SANITIZER TEST
At the recommended use dilution, GLUTEX GS1 Sanitizer and GLUTEX GS2 Sanitizer completely reduced test microorganisms in less than five minutes, even in the presence of extremely hard water. [ AOAC Germicidal and Detergent Sanitizer Test ] [More]
GLUTEX GQ1 & GQ2 sanitizers also contain a quaternary ammonium salt compound. At concentrations of 600 ppm and 1200 ppm total actives, GLUTEX GQ1 & GQ2 sanitizers produced a 99.9% reduction (three log) over the parallel control in five minutes at a contact temperature of 25ºC/76ºF. [ AOAC Germicidal and Detergent Sanitizer Test 2 ]
MODIFIED EPA SANITIZER TEST
At a contact time of five minutes and a concentration of 600ppm, GLUTEX GQ1 & GQ2 sanitizers successfully reduced fungal counts of a hyphae suspension by three logs. At a contact time of five minutes and a concentration of 1200ppm, GLUTEX GQ1 & GQ2 sanitizers effectively reduced fungal counts of a spore suspension by three logs. All testing at 25ºC/76ºF.
