Film Properties that Matter Most
From high-gloss to low odor, ANGUS knows how important improved film properties are to your paint formulation.
Market research confirms that the impact on paint performance continues to be a primary driver when selecting a multifunctional amine. Most dispersants and surfactants contain 25 to 50 percent non-volatile, hygroscopic components, which remain in the dried paint film and contribute to poor scrub resistance and water spotting. However, ANGUS products such as AMP™ Co-Dispersant and Neutralizing Amine and AEPD™ VOX 1000 Multifunctional Amine allow for the reduction of these hygroscopic components. In addition to improved scrub resistance and reduced water spotting on the film, AMP and AEPD™ VOX 1000 give your formulation improved gloss, optimum hiding and outstanding block resistance.
