Flavor and fragrances come in many different types. Several important molecules for these applications can be made starting with dicyclopentadiene (DCPD) as raw material as shown by the schematic below:

DCPD High Purity can be used as raw material for these production processes. It is produced from cyclopentadiene by dimerization and purified afterwards to ensure high quality of the material.
