CORRGUARD EXT Amino Alcohol helps you to maximize the life of your metalworking fluid formulation while keeping corrosion at bay.
As a synergistic primary amino alcohol, this product works to improve biocide performance and fluid longevity. Bacterial and fungal control, as well as pH stability, can be improved with both formaldehyde- and non-formaldehyde-based biocides.
Particularly impressive synergy is found with the non-formaldehyde based benzisothiazolinone (BIT) offered by Dow Biocides as BIOBAN™ BIT Antimicrobial products. CORRGUARD EXT additive is also easy to formulate into a wide variety of water-dilutable concentrates, and can be diluted for tank side addition as well.
