Stephanie Peterson
Business Communications Stephanie Peterson is Business Communications Specialist for ANGUS Chemical Company and Dow Biocides, focused mainly on the metalworking fluids, hobby fuel, personal care and cosmetics, leather, and building materials markets with global responibilities. Her responsibilities include media relations, advertising, product publicity, tradeshow management, literature, customer and internal communications, and community giving. Stephanie is based in Buffalo Grove, Ill., USA. Stephanie joined Dow in December 2006 in her current role. Prior to that, she worked for the American Cancer Society in Tinley Park, Ill. as a senior-level income development specialist where most recently she managed high-end boutique events. She also served as the primary volunteer manager and event planner for several community events, and worked as a regional communications coordinator directing community outreach, publicity, and marketing efforts. Before that, Stephanie was editorial project manager at HOST Communications in Lexington, Ky., where she developed publications for more than 30 clients including the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA). Stephanie’s educational background includes a bachelor of science degree in journalism from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as well as a stint studying abroad at the Australian National University in Canberra, AUS, in 2000. |
