John Berryman
Senior Finance Manager, John Berryman is Senior Finance Manager for ANGUS Chemical Company and Dow Biocides and serves as a member of the business management teams for both businesses. John joined Dow Automotive as a finance manager in 2000, where he was an important contributor to a number of business initiatives. He was a key member of the team responsible for the Amazon project in Camacari, Brazil, where he implemented solutions to increase the profitability of that venture. While at Dow Automotive, he supported the commercialization efforts of the IMPAXX™ energy absorption business and other initiatives of the Dow Automotive new business development team. In 2006, John was a key contributor to a Wire & Cable six sigma team that developed an interactive tool for demonstrating to customers the value of longer life cable jacket materials produced by Dow. He relocated to Buffalo Grove, Illinois for his current role in 2007. Prior to joining Dow, John worked in finance at the Ford Motor Company, where he held a wide variety of positions in the product development, manufacturing, and automotive components organizations. He was also an engineering supervisor at Hughes Aircraft Company in Los Angeles responsible for the design of air-to-air guided missiles. John earned a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering & mechanics and a master’s degree in engineering mechanics from the University of Minnesota. He also holds an MBA in finance from the University of Chicago. He is a certified six sigma green belt. |
