Aircraft Deicing Fluids

UCAR ADF 55/45

UCAR PG Aircraft Deicing Fluid Dilute “55/45” is a propylene glycol-based fluid containing water, corrosion inhibitors, wetting agents and an orange dye. Aqueous solutions of UCAR PG Aircraft Deicing Fluid Dilute “55/45” are used to assist in removing ice, snow, and frost from the exterior surfaces of aircraft. UCAR PG Aircraft Deicing Fluid Dilute “55/45” can be applied to large high-speed jet aircraft down to –25°C (-13°F). UCAR PG Aircraft Deicing Fluid Dilute “55/45”dilutions also have the lowest total Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), the lowest applied fluid cost, and the greatest operational latitude.

UCAR PG Aircraft Deicing Fluid Dilute “55/45” is a ready-to-use fluid, and contains approximately 53.6% by weight propylene glycol and water. UCAR PG Aircraft Deicing Fluid Concentrate can be used to make “55/45”, by mixing 55 parts by volume UCAR PG ADF Concentrate with 45 parts of water.
