Dow Plastics Additives, a business unit of The Dow Chemical Company (NYSE: DOW), launches next generation PARALOID™ KM-606P acrylic impact modifier for vinyl profile extrusion, pipes and compounding in the building and construction industry.

As a next generation impact modifier to help meet the increased requirements on processing efficiency and end-product performance, PARALOID™ KM-606P offers higher efficiency and excellent impact strength at low temperature in addition to the same outstanding weatherability as other PARALOID™ KM series products. Even with a 15-20% reduction in additive consumption, the product provides a comprehensive, cost-saving solution for manufacturers and helps them to achieve superior weatherability and low temperature impact performance in PVC applications.
