Dow Announces Price Increase for Acrylic Acid & Esters

Midland, MI - March 14, 2005

The Dow Chemical Company announced today that it will increase prices for Glacial Acrylic Acid, Butyl Acrylate, Ethyl Acrylate, 2-Ethylhexyl Acrylate and Methyl Acrylate in North America, effective April 1, 2005 or as contract terms allow.

Dow will increase selling prices by U.S. $0.10 per pound in the United States and Canada.
