ACCELACURE Fast Cure Novolac System PT 1.0 for Pultrusion

A breakthrough technology, the ACCELACURE™ Fast Cure Novolac System represents an entirely new class of thermoset materials. The unique two-part system is based on Novolac technology, combining a resin and a hardener to create a formulated product for pulstrusion applications.
A cutting-edge alternative, the ACCELACURE System replaces existing fire resistant resins such as phenolic resoles, modified acrylic urethanes (MODAR) and fire resistant polyesters.
ACCELACURE Fast Cure Novolac System PT 1.0 for Pultrusion provides a number of benefits over competitive materials, including improved mechanical performance, fast and easy processing rates, and unmmatched flame, smoke and smoke toxicity (FST) performance.
ACCELACURE PT 1.0 has improved tensile strength, elongation and toughness, while eliminating formaldehyde odors in a wide array of applications, including building infrastructure, mass transit and marine applications.
ACCELACURE PT 1.0 provides numerous benefits and significant cost-savings to composite fabricators generating pultruded profiles, including:
- Faster processing —matches the rate of polyester and up to twice as fast as phenolic resins
- Formaldehyde-free curing technology
- Very high solids (85% minimum)
- Easy to process and is non-corrosive to tooling
- Excellent shelf life without refrigeration
