To facilitate the process, requests for Dow contributions must meet at least one of the following criteria:

•	Address a demonstrated need in a city/community in which The Dow Chemical Company has a presence.
•	Provide an opportunity for hands-on science experience for students below the college level to engender a more enjoyable learning atmosphere for them to discover the values of science.
•	Support a post-secondary project or program involving science, engineering, business or other related area to also expand and improve the pool of talented students from which we can choose future employees.
•	Enhance the environment.

Please keep in mind that Dow does not contribute to:

•	Religious organizations
•	Individual requests
•	Trip expenses
•	Non-501(c)(3) organizations
•	Organizations that charge fees or dues
•	Lobbying organizations
